Donation Guidelines
Individual Donations
We welcome your donations to our event! We are collecting items throughout the year for our main event, Moxie Swap - location and date TBA. We will be organizing fun events to collect donations. Feel free to check our "Events" tab for locations and details. We are adding new "Pay It Forward" events all of the time!
If you are unable to make one of our donation events, you certainly are welcome to have your own with your friends! Create a casual get together and collect your friends' donations while having fun at the same time!
We also will be happy to collect your donations directly. Please visit accepting locations under "Donations" Also, please see our donation guidelines for what articles we are accepting. Thank you for your help! We will be giving a discount coupon to our main event to everyone who donates so please make sure to provide all of your information with your donations.
Please note that we are receiving items for women only. Any season and size is welcome.
Items that are wanted include shoes, accessories, handbags, jackets, workout clothes and all other apparel. Please refrain from donating the following unless new and in its packaging and/or has tags: underwear; bras; sock; and tights/nylons. Please kindly do not donate t-shirts and or sweatshirts from school events or fundraisers.
As you gather your items, please kindly take the time to inspect each piece. Often we get use to seeing our things and we may not notice details. Remember that to another woman, this will be a new addition to her closet. All care to ensure the best presentation is greatly appreciated and saves time and energy for our volunteers helping out with this event.
Please double check that there are no personal belongings in pockets as well as no deodorant markings, tears, stains, rips or odors.

Please note Moxie Swap is committed to providing items in exceptional condition for this event. Moxie Swap reserves the right to donate any item which does not meet this requirement to a local charity or other means of repurposing when possible.
Do you wish to thin out your wardrobe but don't know where to begin? Often many women are unsure as to what looks good on them. It can be overwhelming and discouraging at times. If you would like some assistance we'd love to help! In honor of the Pay It Forward event, we have stylists on hand who are donating portions of their time to build women up and help them use their style to promote their natural assets. This includes you if you choose! Please contact us so we can assist you.
Individual Donation Document
Individuals donating clothing may be entitled to claim a charitable deduction for their donations. To determine the value of the items you donate, we recommend talking with a tax advisor or consult a reference such as Goodwill’s guide to assessing market values for used goods at www.goodwillpromo.org. We have gladly provide you a form to record your donations below. Just click on the box to download. However, we will not assign a value to your donations. Please note it is up to you to document your contribution and determine the value. When you donate you will receive an acknowledgment from Wellspring that you donated for your records. By donating you will also receive a discount to shop the main event on April 16th 2016. Please note you must provide us your full information with your donation if you wish to be considered for a tax donation. Plus, you don't want to miss out on the coupon you'll receive to shop our main event packed with killer deals, right? We fully respect your privacy and only use this information for donation purposes.

We feel at Moxie Swap there are so many delicious items on the market that are not always name brand. We value getting creative and locating unique finds! That being said, we do know many love certain brands and we respect this choice. We welcome any and all brands for donation as long as the condition is great. We can appreciate shoppers would like to know what is being sold at our main event on April 16th, 2016. Please note pictures posted are really to give you a sense and by no means reflects all of our donations. We have a variety of styles and sizes coming in all the time!
